Day 30 of the 30 Day Photo Challenge set by White Peach Photography is “Self Portrait”.
So we’ve come to the end of the 30 Day Photo Challenge and we end the way we started – with a self portrait.
I’ve enjoyed this challenge but if I did it again there is a few things I would change. For starters, I wouldn’t take any photos on my phone. I’m rather disappointed with myself that I ended up taking the last half of the photos on my phone. I was hoping that this would be a chance to get my camera out and start using it more.
I would also look ahead at the topics more so that I’m aware of what is coming up and not just trying to find a subject at the last minute.
Today’s photo was taken after I woke up from a 3 hour nap this afternoon. It wasn’t planned – It was just after lunch, Lily was ready for nap and Mr Monkey & I were tired so we decided to have a nap with her before Mr Monkey left for work at 2. I played some music to help Lily settle down and it worked quickly. Unfortunately it must’ve worked too well because Lily & I slept through Mr Monkey’s alarm going off and him saying good bye. We even slept for another hour. Oh well, we must’ve needed it. And I love our cuddles and Lily woke up in an awesome, gorgeous mood.
