  1. {Bloggy Love} – Life and Other crises

    August 18, 2011 by Cassie

I’ve decided to spread some love around (and perhaps gain a few sneaky followers ) by doing a weekly feature on some of the blogs I love to read. Some are housework related, most are not.

Life and Other Crises is written by the deliriously funny Kerri Sackville. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Kerri, although only for a few minutes, at her book launch earlier this year. She was even lovely enough to give me a box of Lindt chocolates for helping her create name tags for all of her Twitter friends who were attending.

Kerri writes with great honesty about her life as a mum, a wife, a blogger and a writer. Her first book “When My Husband Does The Dishes…” (the original title ended with “he expects sex”) was released earlier this year and is a fantastic collection of insights and tips about what motherhood and marriage is really like.

I don’t really think I can give Kerri the correct amount of homage that she deserves, simply because I cannot write as well as her. She’s funny, she’s honest, she’s caring, she’s absurd.

Check out Kerri’s blog and tell her I sent you. You can also find her on Facebook here and she is a cracker of a Twit on Twitter here. She is also an occasional contributor to Mamamia (which is where I think I first came across her).

Do you have a blog you think I should check out? Let me know in the comments :)
