Our new couch layout – much easier for cleaning
Well, I’m supposed to be working in the Downstairs zone this week but I actually got most of it done last week! We bought a new entertainment unit and replaced the old one and moved the furniture around. It makes the room seem much bigger but it’s taking a little bit of getting used to with being on the other side of the room.
While we were moving everything we did sime cleaning – we vacuumed under the furniture and cleaned the walls. We also vacuumed the couch. The top of the TV cabinet was obviously cleared as we changed the units over. The new one has much less space for clutter to gather so should hopefully be easier to keep clean.
There’s only a few things on the list for this zone that we didn’t do: rotate toys, filing, tidy shoes and clean window. I plan to do these this week plus a few things we missed in the Computer Room zone from last week. I also really need to find places for all of the things that got displaced from the living room.
So here’s the plan:
